It’s 10 o’clock in the morning in Colombia, I’m heading to do some home shopping, for my part, many people pass, all with a different situation.
There are few people I see happy, very few are the ones who smile. But yes, many sad, thoughtful.
He makes me stop a woman, he may be about 23 years old, he greets me and immediately introduces himself by saying his name.
He offers me natural products to lose weight, I listen to him with attention, until he finishes speaking, I tell him that at this moment I am not interested and I encourage him to continue.
He went to a leafy tree, the sun in these lands is very suffocating.
In the face of this woman, sadness is reflected, this desperate, has not sold anything.
These people are paid for sales, if they do not sell, they do not earn.
They are housewives, students, people of Venezuelan nationality, they are looking for an opportunity.
In Colombia there is a lot of unemployment, and everything is changing, affecting the poorest, the most needy.
– The jobs already have a limit age, from 18 to 30 years.
– Each time the minimum wage reaches less.
– Increase in informal work: street sales.
– Higher education is very expensive.
– Health services are getting worse.

I just want to show the sad reality of poor people, unemployed, and with many needs.
It is sad to see a child asking for food and not having money to buy, we see children with broken shoes in schools, dirty, other barefoot, hungry or doing adult jobs.
Children in the streets, instead of studying. We want to help everyone, but we do not have enough money to at least provide a good market.
This community work is new, and we are just looking at what needs these families have.
We will be working with them, to support each family.
It has been thought to train these people in an art or trade to produce an income and thus can help their families.
